Gardaí probe Dublin assault on asylum seeker who says he and others called ‘black monkeys’

The man said they were called “black monkeys” and were told “this is Ireland” and to “f*** off”.
The man, in his mid-30s, appeared before Judge Dermot Dempsey at Dublin District Court today.
The explosion happened at an Applegreen service station in Creeslough on 7 October, 2022.
A business in Rathmullan was robbed at knifepoint on Thursday night.
Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to any of the collisions to come forward.
Extensive damage was caused to a number of homes and vehicles following a series of events in Ennistymon.
Emergency services attended the scene and the man was taken to St James’ Hospital in Dublin.
Gardaí said the incident occurred yesterday at around 6:30pm in the Rampart Lane area of the town.
