AA Roadwatch has warned that roads remain wet across most areas this morning.
The warning kicks in at 7pm this evening and will remain valid until 7am tomorrow morning.
This winter will be the fifth that the forecaster is naming storms before they happen.
Temperatures reached 22.9 degrees Celsius in Oak Park in Carlow yesterday.
Ireland will see dry and settled weather this weekend.
Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees are forecast today, in moderate southerly breezes.
The warning will be valid from tomorrow at 6am until Saturday at 6pm.
