St Patrick’s Day will have sunshine, though with some scattered showers.
Schools may not open on Monday in areas worst hit by snow.
The warning came into effect yesterday evening at 6pm and is set to last until 10am this morning.
Met Éireann has said weather conditions will stay mild and generally dry.
Met Éireann said the rain showers will also continue into early next week.
It was 1.8 degrees in Claremorris, Co Mayo this morning.
A Status Yellow warning is in place for all of Leinster, as well as Cavan, Monaghan, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, and Waterford.
Multiple weather warnings were in place yesterday evening, including Status Orange wind warnings for Mayo, Donegal and Galway.
