Across Dublin, a total of 3,729 burglaries or related offences were recorded in the span of just 12 months up to September 2024.
The incident happened yesterday afternoon at a location near Jervis Street shopping centre and Capel Street.
The woman stole the purse from a woman in her 80s and failed to appear before Belfast Crown Court in 2016.
The theft took place in the sacristy of St Eunan’s Cathedral in Letterkenny following the mass on Sunday.

All three men are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice at 10.30am this morning.
